This new Project Management Professionals (PMP®) course prepares PMP® aspirants for success in achieving the PMP® 2021 Certification (via examination).

Designed for Project Managers and other Project Leaders (Project Coordinators, Team Leaders, Project Engineers, etc), with at least 3 years’ experience, to prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® examination. It provides the 35 hours of specific project management training required to qualify for the credential.

Overview

This new Project Management Professionals (PMP®) course prepares PMP® aspirants for success in achieving the PMP® 2021 Certification (via examination).

Designed for Project Managers and other Project Leaders (Project Coordinators, Team Leaders, Project Engineers, etc), with at least 3 years’ experience, to prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® examination. It provides the 35 hours of specific project management training required to qualify for the credential.

Learning Objectives

PMP® course students will gain knowledge and skills to:

  • Align project management experiences with the Gold
    Standard in Project Management – The PMBOK®
    Guide, to improve their ability to manage better all
    situations in their projects for successful outcomes.
  • Apply best recommended global practices in
    predictive, agile, and hybrid project management
    methodologies and look at tailoring options within their organisation.
  • Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience
    to appropriately apply a methodology to projects
    that have reasonably well-defined requirements and
    deliverables.
  • Be Professionally and Socially Responsible as a Project Manager.
  • Set expectations of the formal exam.Identify the process for renewing certification status

Delivery

Delivered over 5 days.

This course is delivered face to face in the classroom or virtually online. Templates, tools and examples will be reviewed and discussed. Email support is provided by the instructor during and after the PMP course.

Recommended for

This course is for people qualified to seek PMP® certification.

To qualify you must have:

  • A four-year degree
  • 36 months leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification

— OR —

  • A high school diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent)
  • 60 months leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification

PDUs/Hours and Special Requirements

35 hours toward qualifying for the PMP® Credential.

Only experienced project managers should attempt this style of course.  Participants should be fully aware of PMP requirements before the course begins.
