Overview

This Project Management Professionals (PMP®) course prepares PMP® aspirants for success in achieving PMP® Certification (via examination).

Designed for experienced Project Managers and other Project Leaders (Project Coordinators, Team Leaders, Project Engineers, etc) to prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® examination. It provides the 35 hours of specific project management training required to qualify for the credential.

Learning Objectives

PMP® course students will gain knowledge and skills to:

  • Identify and recall the names and purpose of the processes within each of the 10 areas of project management through the presentation and associated discussions.
  • To identify the key outputs of selected processes by examining supplied templates.
  • To identify key tools and techniques of selected process by using and analysing sample tools provided.

Delivery

4 days. All content, materials and resources are the same, only the scheduling is different.

This course is delivered face to face. Templates and tool examples will be reviewed and discussed. Email support is provided by the instructor during and after the PMP course.

Recommended for

This course is for people qualified to seek PMP® certification.

To qualify you must have:

  • Either a degree plus 3 years (36 months) project experience within the past 8 years
  • Or no degree plus 5 years (60 months) project experience within the past 8 years. Full details are on the Project Management Institute (PMI)® website at www.pmi.org
