Overview
The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) course is designed for entry level project managers, project coordinators, administrators, and other project stakeholders to prepare for the CAPM® Certification Examination. It provides the 23 hours of project management specific education required to qualify for the credential.
Learning Objectives
CAPM® course students will gain knowledge and skills to:
- Identify and recall the names and purpose of the processes within each of the 10 areas of project management through the presentation and associated discussions.
- To identify the key outputs of selected processes by examining supplied templates.
- To identify key tools and techniques of selected process by using and analysing sample tools provided.
Delivery
CAPM® is delivered over 3 days. Some All content, materials and resources are the same, only the scheduling is different.
This course is delivered face to face. Templates
and tool examples will be reviewed and discussed.
Email support is provided by the instructor during and after the CAPM® course.
Recommended for
This CAPM® course is intended for people seeking CAPM® certification. You need no formal work experience to qualify for this certification but you do need 23 hours of project management education. This course provides these 23 hours.
Some participants may be ready to sit the CAPM® exam soon after the course finishes. Others may require additional study time and a study text is provided, at no additional charge, for that purpose.
