The course is based on the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition, published by the Project Management Institute (PMI) which is the current set of standards upon which the PMP certification is based. The Agile Practice Guide, also published by PMI, is a companion text that focuses on the Agile concepts relevant to project management. The new PMP exam was launched January 2, 2021 and reflects the “A Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Sixth Edition and Agile Practice Guide”.
The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) course is designed for entry level project managers, project coordinators, administrators, and other project stakeholders to prepare for the CAPM® Certification Examination. It provides the 23 hours of project management specific education required to qualify for the credential.
